Jet Set Radio (in Amerika Jet Grind Radio) kommt ins PSN.

Der Dreamcast hit aus dem Jahr 2000 konnte damals mit Cell Shading grafik und abgedrehtem Stil punkten.

So versetzte man den Spieler in so genannte Graffitikünstler-Gangs, im Spiel auch “GG” abgekürzt, mit denen man sich einen Weg durch das Spiel bahnte und sich mit entsprechenden Graffitis einen Namen machte. Unklar ist derzeit, ob die Umsetzung für den PlayStation Store auf der europäischen oder der nordamerikanischen Version basiert. Letztere bot seinerzeit die Möglichkeit, sich mit dem SegaNet zu verbinden und eigene Graffiti-Logos hoch- beziehungsweise die Logos anderer Spieler herunterzuladen.

Dein Grafitti Design im Game

Sega are going to put eighteen pieces of new graffiti into the game, and are asking fans in the U.S. and U.K. to send in their own digital graffiti designs. The catch is that the graffiti needs to be completely original, not feature any Sega characters, or violate the trademarks of any other company. It also can’t resemble any recognizable person or personality.

Full rules for the contest can be viewed here. Prizes include a copy of the game, a Jet Set Radio hoodie, a Jet Set Radio branded beverage shaker, and the Etón Rukus Solar – Portable Blue Tooth Sound System with a solar panel.
