Michael Bay reveals Microsoft's "dirty secret"

69 CommentsTransformers director Michael Bay has accused Microsoft of sowing seeds of confusion in the HD DVD / Blu-ray war for its own digital download-aim ends.

"What you don't understand is corporate politics. Microsoft wants both formats to fail so they can be heroes and make the world move to digital downloads. That is the dirty secret no one is talking about", Bay has said in a post in the forums on his website.

"That is why Microsoft is handing out $100 million dollar checks to studios just [to] embrace the HD DVD and not the leading, and superior Blu-ray", he continued.

"They want confusion in the market until they perfect the digital downloads. Time will tell and you will see the truth."


Geht am ENde die PS3 wegen Blu Ray unter und HDDVD auch??

Ist das jetzt neu oder das Alte was es von paar Monaten gab? Den M. Bay war so sauer über die Paramount entscheidung dass er keinen weiteren Transformers Film mehr machen wollte. Und was jetzt? Er macht Teil 2. Sind nur wütende Aussagen einer Person. (Wobei man sagen muß dass er zum Teil auch Recht hat. Irgendwann wird es soolche Filme nur als Download geben)

Playstation kann nur dann unter gehen wenn es keine guten Spiele mehr für die Konsole geben wird. Aber das wird wohl nicht eintreffen. Es gibt 3 verschiedene Konsolen und das ist gut. Konkurenz belebt das Geschäft
