Dragon Ball: Zenkai Battle Royale Now Officially Confirmed


Last week we reported Namco Bandai Games filed two trademarks -- one for Dragon Ball: Ultimate Butouden and the other for Dragon Ball Zenkai Battle Royale. Ultimate Butouden was confirmed yesterday via a scan and today Dragon Ball: Zenkai Battle Royale is also confirmed! The thing with Dragon Ball: Zenkai Battle Royale is that it is an arcade game (like the one you would play at an actual arcade or Chuck E. Cheese) so that likelihood of it coming to North America is pretty low. For our Japanese fans, the arcade game is set to debut February 4, 2011.
Dragon Ball: Zenkai Battle Royale seems to be like Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team in that two characters can be on the same team. In the trailer below, for example, you’ll briefly see Piccolo holding an opponent (Android 16) and then Goku charging a Kamehameha to shoot at the opponent. The graphics looks very nice and detailed, possibly better than Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2, but we’ll let you be the judge of that.
There official website, db-zenkai.com, is live, but contains nothing more than a splash image and the trailer below.

Unlike traditional arcade games, Dragon Ball: Zenkai Battle Royale supports network-based play. In other words, you could be in one arcade in Japan and your friend can be at another arcade, and you guys can play together. There are, of course, also local matches so if all your friends are in the same arcade, up to four of you can play together.
Dragon Ball: Zenkai Battle Royale is a four player fighting game like Super Smash Brothers, but on a 3D plane. It is a free-for-all where the top two players in a match get to move on to the next round and keep playing. Like most arcade games, this one costs more money to play when you lose.
As you may have noticed, the graphics for Dragon Ball: Zenkai Battle Royale are amazing! Some of the best, if not the best for a Dragon Ball game! The reason is that the game makes use of the PlayStation 3-based System 357 arcade board. In other words, the power of the PlayStation 3 in this arcade system. Let’s hope the next Dragon Ball game actually on the PS3 (and 360) looks this good.
Dragon Ball: Zenkai Battle Royale is scheduled to hit Japanese arcades February 4th, 2011. Testing for the game is set to be held on December 10th-12th at various arcades throughout Japan.

Dragon Ball Zenkai Battle Royal Super Saiyan Awakening

Es handelt sich um eine erweiterte Version des Arcade-Titels Dragon Ball Zenkai Battle Royal — allerdings wird es auch diese erweiterte Version als Arcade-Automaten geben. Namco Bandai hat bereits eine offizielle Website online gestellt. Laut der Website gibt es u. a. Super Saiyans Goku, Vegeta, Gohan und Trunks als neue Charaktere. Außerdem gibt es einen Story-Modus und bisher nicht detaillierte Erweiterungen am Kampfsystem.

Ich finde es ist ein Geniales Dragonball Game und ich glaube mal nach dem Flopp BOZ, wird es herauskommen für die ps4 wenn es fertig ist
