Ich komme auf 37. Das Schwerste zu lesen aus der Liste der Bücher, die ich gelesen habe war Ulysees von James Joyce (auf Englisch). Ganze 3 Anläufe habe ich gebraucht. Eigentlich gehört meiner Meinung nach noch Infinite Jest von David Foster Wallace auf die Liste. Das ist das Buch, was ich unbedingt lesen möchte!

Bei mir sind es gerade mal 2.

Ich hätte eine Frage zu dieser 100-Bücher-Liste. Was soll das denn für eine Liste sein? Mir ist aufgefallen das wichtige deutsche Autoren fehlen bzw. keine deutschen Autoren aufgelistet sind! Wo sind z.B Hermann Hesse und Günther Grass?

Das ist ja auch keine deutsche Liste, sondern eine englische und die beinhaltet die beliebtesten Bücher in Großbritannien, nach einer Umfrage der BBC. Steht allerdings auch so im ersten Post!

Bitte, bitte - das hab ich mir nämlich auch gedacht, als ich die Liste gefunden hab!

Also, in den allermeisten Fällen, würde ich dir auf jeden Fall dazu raten, die Bücher doch nochmal zu lesen... Sie sind in der Regel um Längen besser und zeigen auch viele Aspekte auf, die in dem Film garnicht vorkommen!! Meistens wird in Filmen ja auch immernoch irgendwas dazugedichtet, oder sie werden komplett entfremdet und haben dann viel weniger mit dem Buch gemeinsam, als man denkt.

Naja, das bleibt halt jeden selbst überlassen - aber ich finde es immer lohnenswert, die Bücher nochmal zu lesen!
